Any author writing a book, should consider purchasing or downloading the following software (this list is for PC´s).

For word processing we recommend micrsoft word, the link below will allow you to purchase a genuine copy of Microsoft Home and Student 2013, when you complete your purchase you will be able to download it from microsoft directly.



An alternative to Microsoft´s Office packages which include word, is Open Office, its advantage is that it is free, however it can occaisonally cause formatting and compatibility errors.

Adobe Digital Editions
This software enables you to (amongst other things) read and view epub documents, importantly when releasing your new ebook, you need to be sure that your table of contents is correctly structured, we consider this essential for anyone publishing an ebook.

Essential for reading pdf versions of your document.

Microsoft Word Reader
Useful, along with the other microsoft readers, if you use open office, there are subtle differences in how microsoft documents are presented when prepared using compatible softwares.

Open Office (British English - all platforms)

This suite of software is excellent and can produce documents fully compatible with microsoft office, as its open source / free a large support community also exists.
